Becoming Fully Myself

I am not your average counselor or coach. I have lived the ups and downs of having a big job and a big life. I built a successful career in tech in a place that was hostile to what worked for me and for my family. It’s a hard gig.

What makes me different is that I’ve walked the walk. I hold an undergrad in Computer Science and an MBA. I’ve been an individual contributor and have managed teams of 50+. I have four software patents. I’m certified in all things Scrum. I’ve done the startup thing and the big corporate thing. I’ve built amazing products, teams, and companies as an engineer, product manager, and exec.

I have also experienced the “big life” side of that equation: four kiddos (two by birth, two by adoption), an almost three-decade-long marriage, and a bevvy of hobbies and volunteer activities.

And I decided to wrap all of that experience up and offer it to you with the depth of (yes, another degree) a master’s in clinical mental health. The coursework I completed in counseling provides me with a deeper and broader foundation of understanding and skills to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.

Do I have it all together? Heavens no! That’s not even the goal. To me, success is becoming more Fully Myself every day. Come join me on the journey.

Empowering Your Journey

You’ve worked hard to find professional success. You’ve built a life that looks good on paper. You’ve checked the boxes. You genuinely like the pieces of your life. And yet, you feel lonely, worn down, burned out, disconnected from yourself and the people around you.

The pieces are all there, but somehow it’s not working.

I get you. Having a big life and a big job sometimes feels like big success… and sometimes it just feels like too much to handle. I’ve been there, too, and sometimes it really helps to have somebody who has walked this road ready to walk with you.

You might be struggling with…

  • The isolation of working in tech
  • The pressure of fast promotions… or the heartbreak and frustration of stalled promotions
  • Weighing a potential career transition
  • The overwhelm and frustration of trying to do it all – maybe it’s even blossomed into full burnout
  • Echos of trauma still impacting your life
  • Staying connected in the relationships that mean the most to you
